Name one country that has SSM where there is a serious move to legalize polygamy.
There is actually an interesting reverse image between countries that support same-sex marriage and those supporting polygamy. Those that support SSM generally oppose polygamy (1st World). Those that support polygamy, oppose SSM (3rd world).
Explain to me why Polygamy SHOULDN'T be legal? If 3 people want to get married, why should I care?
I agree with you. But polygamy is not the issue, SSM is.
I for one have come to enjoy the humor in watching people who have no real, logical disagreement to something (like SSM) so they have to make these ****-poor slippery slope arguments. It's a childish effort, when a kid doesn't want to do something they make up silly, nonsensical and totally made up reasons why they shouldn't have to do it. The reality is, and every human being can realize this easilly, is that same sex marriage is not the same as polygamy or beastiality.
As I have said many times before, when same-sex marriage is legalized/recognized by the Supreme Court it will be just the begining. I have been saying that all along. Not only for other types of marriages but for how far the same-sex marriage/same sex agenda (teaching/acceptance/etc) will be foistered on everyone. And please don't compare the same sex marriage struggle to the bi-racial marriage struggle.
