No one can change their skin color---well maybe no one except Michael Jackson---but everyone can control their actions. Not saying it is easy but it can be controlled.
Homosexuality is broken heterosexuality. We are all born heterosexual. No gay gene has ever been found.
As I have said many times before, when same-sex marriage is legalized/recognized by the Supreme Court it will be just the begining. I have been saying that all along. Not only for other types of marriages but for how far the same-sex marriage/same sex agenda (teaching/acceptance/etc) will be foistered on everyone. And please don't compare the same sex marriage struggle to the bi-racial marriage struggle.
Quote:
1) First, judges claimed that marriage belonged under the control of the states rather than the federal government.
2) Second, they began to define and label all interracial relationships (even longstanding, deeply committed ones) as illicit sex rather than marriage.
3) Third, they insisted that interracial marriage was contrary to God's will, and
4) Fourth, they declared, over and over again, that interracial marriage was somehow "unnatural."
On this fourth point--the supposed "unnaturality" of interracial marriage--judges formed a virtual chorus. Here, for example, is the declaration that the Supreme Court of Virginia used to invalidate a marriage between a black man and a white woman in 1878:
The purity of public morals," the court declared, "the moral and physical development of both races….require that they should be kept distinct and separate… that connections and alliances so unnatural that God and nature seem to forbid them, should be prohibited by positive law, and be subject to no evasion.
The fifth, and final, argument judges would use to justify miscegenation law was undoubtedly the most important; it used these claims that interracial marriage was unnatural and immoral to find a way around the Fourteenth Amendment's guarantee of "equal protection under the laws." How did judges do this? They insisted that because miscegenation laws punished both the black and white partners to an interracial marriage, they affected blacks and whites "equally." This argument, which is usually called the equal application claim, was hammered out in state supreme courts in the late 1870s, endorsed by the United States Supreme Court in 1882, and would be repeated by judges for the next 85 years.
One relationship the previous poster has been indoctrinated to respect; and the other relationship the previous poster has been indoctrinated to disrespect. That's what's different.
And you don't think you have been indoctrinated to accept gay as normal? WOW.
And SSM is not the same as different races marrying but many were duped into believing it to support gay marriage.
It's only logical to think polygamy will be treated the same way in order to be accepted. That will be the next in thing.
Let's pretend it is the next logical step (of course it's not, and maybe you should look up the definition of the word logical) but let's pretend it is. Let me ask you this question: if the only reason against doing something is that it might lead to a small group of people wanting to do something completley different, is that really enough reason to not do the first thing?
If a guy asked you out on a first date and you thought "man, he might want to have sex with me tonight but I don't want to have sex on the first date" is that going to stop you from accepting his invitation to go out to dinner?

Homosexuality is broken heterosexuality. We are all born heterosexual. No gay gene has ever been found.
No straight gene has been found either. And I can tell you from personal life experience, I was never straight.

Its exactly the same. the same arguments used by racists in the 60's to deny interracial marriage, are the same arguments used by bigots to deny same sex marriage.

No straight gene needs to be found since we are all born straight. It's not clear what makes someone have same sex attraction but we all start out straight.

Neither can gays. They can't change whom they love, are attracted to or want to have sex with.
Did you choose to be hetero?

and heteros can control their actions so they don't have sex with other heteros. some heteros will even engage in sex associated with gays (willingly), it doesn't mean they are gay.

No it isn't.

No we aren't.

and no heterosexual gene has been found either, and anyone who continues to use this line of argument are severely ignorant on the subject.
