That is absolutely false to the core. Democrats think bigger government and more spending means better government. This is the problem with your party.

Most of the countries on the list you linked that are better for business have governments to the left of Democrats.

There is a difference between left socially, vs left fiscally.

Once again, are we getting prosperity by increasing poverty? That was Obamas plan after all..

^^^Democrats have always felt going back at least to the LBJ era that a bigger government results in higher standards of living for everyone, which certainly explains while two worst states for business are those two Democrat-infested hellholes known as California and Illinois.

That also explains why over 3,500,000 folks have left California in the past 20 years, as well as a plunging birth rate within the state which is going off the cliff and will result in a financial meltdown to end all others sooner rather than later.

Democrats could care less about the middle class, and you can start with our hopelessly overmatched President, and his nonstop string of job-killing policies, on top of his Communist-inspired proposal to cap the amount of $$$ we can sock away into our 401Ks and other tax shelters such as IRAs.

The out of control bloodsucking parasites at the EPA, SEC & elsewhere don't help at all, as well as the fact that super-successful companies are relentlessly being sued by their incompetent competitors with plenty of help from our DOJ and our out-of-control antitrust law regulations (think Google) which is why our double-digit unemployment rate has been stuck there for years.

So if Somalia (since you seem to be so obsessed with it) had a government that is to the left of Democrats it would prosper as well?

You didnt answer the question..

Btw, you've mentioned Somalia about .5% of the time (so far 38 times), so considering these threads are on lots of different subjects, one might say thats an obsession.

Because our business culture is grimey.

It's not about providing the best good or service, its about making the highest profit.

There lies the problem.
