Oh sorry everyone! I guess it's okay for her to be fired because of a stupid formality! Screw human rights and science and all that stuff, right??

Why are these types of schools even legal? Education is seperate from beliefs.

There is nothing that says education is separate from beliefs. What we have is religion separate from state. They are private schools, not paid for by the state.

Feeble. These twits will chain themselves to fences for the "babies" yet to be born, yet can't be moved to do more than stop showing up for mass? And what exactly has persuaded you that the masses fleeing are doing so because this rotten organization has enabled child-rapers? My perception is that most move on because of the fire and brimstone sermons, the guilt they preach and the dour nature of the services drives younger generations away. Do we have any data that tells us why so many leave the Church?

You're associating rabid pro-life folks with the rest of Catholics, in this case.

Those are extremists and you have them in all walks of life.

Just google "Why are Catholics leaving the Church"

Most aren't leaving their faith though, just the organized Church part.

Okay, quickly perusing the article, I see no indication that most are leaving in protest of the aiding and abetting of child-rapers.

I know this will shock the liberal C-D posters but the fact is that many religious schools, including Jewish and Islamic, do not allow homosexual teachers.

It is a religious institution, and those involved must uphold certain values.

Catholic School Fires Teacher of 19 Years After Her Mother's Obituary Outs Her As Gay

So much of what the Roman Catholic Church does is contrary to Christian beliefs.
