I would personally LOVE to see the private innards of everyone at that school who made the decision to fire her. You know damn well their sins are probably worse and not acceptable behavior either. This is exactly why we need to regulate this stuff, sinners don't regulate themselves and sin is a stupid reason to fire anyone.

Hmmmmm.
I work at a Jewish school. We had an outstanding female Teacher there for Years with NO PROBLEMS.
her partner would even visit and take her lunch.
NO ONE BATTED an eye or brought shame upon her to the board or Rabbi.
They were welcomed and respected by most. The kids loved her, as did the parents.

I saw Texas on that map posted earlier.
Come on, How many gay coaches/ Drama teachers have you had or seen in schools? My history teacher, my drama teacher, my coaches.....GAY and everyone knew it!!!!! AND this was back in late 80's!!!!!!
ask your kids what's up?

Catholic or not, it was wrong. Such BULL**** when you stop and see/read/hear the hypocrisy of the Catholic Church and their morals, rules, covenants, and dirty secret sex crimes.

There are other ways to "get your message across" cometclear and hitting them in the pocketbook is one way.

I thought membership was down, not attendance. i know that may not seem like much, but there is a difference between the 2.

I think a man did sue them and lost.

Given the Catholic aspect, one wonders if instead of being outed as gay she was caught molesting children if she would have been promoted rather than fired.

I take it this school would also terminate any employee who revealed they had been working on the Sabbath, had cheated on their spouse or had expressed envy towards their neighbor's stuff? Yes, of course. Those are bigger ones than laying down with someone of the same sex, yes?

How any thinking person still aligns him/herself with this corrupt outfit is beyond me. They take hypocrisy to unprecedented levels. What a bunch of phony baloneys. The whole smelly outfit should be put out of business for good.
