The far right is always crying for "Cuts! cuts! cuts! cut everything!" Though when disaster strikes in their back yards, they are the first on their knees with their mouths open and hands reached out, begging for the president to bail them out.
What makes it even worse, is that Cruz was staunchly against the hurricane Sandy relief efforts, calling it "pork", now he is begging for the government to open the checkbook for him.

“Hurricane Sandy inflicted devastating damage on the East Coast, and Congress appropriately responded with hurricane relief,” Cruz said in a statement earlier this year. “Unfortunately, cynical politicians in Washington could not resist loading up this relief bill with billions in new spending utterly unrelated to Sandy.”
I believe this was all gone over a few days back, sounds like you all missed it.
That's because all Republicans lie. They just wanted to screw over the north east and their claims of ideological reasons were just convenient lies. That's why tons of the Republicans who filibustered Sandy aid were still voting for more hurricane aid to their own states almost a decade after the hurricane in question. Everyone in the NE should realize that Republicans hate them, will not do what is in the national good, and so should never be voted for. Ever.
Wait, is he the latest Idiot of the Month for the GOP? It's so hard to keep up. It seems just like yesterday that Big Al down in Florida was claiming he had a list of 80 known Communists in the the Democratic, er, "Democrat" Party.
I swear, at some point, they will elect an actual pile of bull sh*t. Will probably make more sense than West, Cruz, Bachmann, DeMint and the rest of the merry band of idiots combined. Might smell better, too.
As opposed to AL Not so sharpton, Jessie the embezzler Jackson Jr, Nancy "we have to pass it to find out what's in it" Pelosi? As long as the democrats have these and other such jewels, the republican party has no fear of ever being diminished nationally.
