Bull.

This thread is funny. The OP has people tied up in knots. Well done.

No. The Constitution text says UNREASONABLE search. Pretty much everyone agrees the airport security is a reasonable search, not to mention it is also voluntary. You do not have to go to an airport. Do you really think we should allow people with guns and bombs into planes given the fact that such idiocy has already cost the lives of thousands of people. If you don't like it, then don't fly.

Companies are responsible for providing a safe product or service. If an airline is not safe people will not fly on it. When you go to a stadium or amusement park you have to go through metal detectors and the company provides security. I don't think airlines are exempt from this.

I'm not willing to give up or compromise even one tiny bit if freedom in exchange for safety. I want the country to remain as free and open as it was intended to be.

If that means I get blown the hell up, then too bad for me. I'm not gonna live forever anyway. But I wanna die in a free America.

Does this question related to the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution make you angry?

What is your position on immigration? Should people be able to move in and out of this country freely?

Racial (and religious) profiling would be a lot more effective to stop terrorism than having the TSA throw away an innocent person's tube of toothpaste.

Huh? Answering a question with a question is poor form.

So Muslims and non-whites are the only people worthy of checking for nefarious intent? Do you not understand how prejudicial your comments come off as?

It is sad the ignorance on both sides of this issue.
