Forcing people to assimilate with others who also don't want to assimilate is the dumbest thing possible. Hey lets make everybody mad...........but liberals who think everybody loves each other and sings kooombaaaayaaaa together every night. Wake up and look around. I'm not talking about just the US I'm talking about the world.
Doesn't surprise me you would think that, I am sure you would love to hang a sign on our borders that reads "only white Christians allowed to enter." But that doesn't change the fact that this country is 310+ million people and trying to find a majority that will ever agree with you is never going to happen.
By the way, what's the alternative to coexistence? Turning the damn country into Bosnia?
A nation like Chechnya with a Muslim population that is non-Arab.
But liberals don't like that because it means that they can't play the race card when criticising people who acknowledge that their is such a thing as Islamic extremism.
Liberals see everything through the prism of skin color, yet claim Martin Luther King Jr.(a Republican) as their own.
But Islam is not a religion of coexist. They are the ones who want to force others to their way of thinking. There is no coexist in Islam. The left screams that the NRA stops studies on gun violence but the left forbids the Gov. from studying the Islam war ideology.

of course christians proselytize. but that is not the issue because almost every religion does that. what is a problem is when a religion wants to become a state church and that is something I completely oppose because it starts causing a bunch of infringement on everyone else's rights. so despite the fact that i'm a devout christian I will never support a state church like in the old world.

There is a big difference between coexistence and conversion. Yes many if not all religions try to convert, but they don't bomb others. Wait the Muslims do.

That's great the you oppose it, but a large percentage of the religious right do not. How often after tragedies do we hear religious leaders blaming it on the exclusion of Christianity (namely prayer) from schools and government entities? My point is, religious coexistence can only exist with the rejection of all religion.
