This is looking more and more (as much as it can at this point) like older bro was just a straight up disgruntled psychopath. Much like it looked in the beginning. I'd be surprised if religious extremism was anything more than a front.

Well, it's come to light that at one time he considered this murdered guy his best friend. As for his wife, she was obviously weak-minded and it was reported that her friends warned her not to go back to him after an initial break-up, but she did, married him and converted. We can assume this nut was also a control freak.
I would think with 3 guys that it would have to be more than one person. Wouldn't there have been DNA any where. Fingerprints?
Maybe they will delve a bit deeper now. If big brother bomber was not a suspect, they would have had no reason to check his DNA and compare it to any collected at the crime scene.
Good way to clean up a triple murder off the books. Blame it on the terrorists. Everybody will nod their heads and give up thumbs up for such great police work.
