If you can justify banning guns because it will save one life, then why not ban abortion, which will save millions?
This argument has got to stop. Its does little. All it does is let people who are anti abortion yell it and try to insert it into every argument. The Supreme court has settled the issue, you can make law as to when it can be done but if you keep beating that drum nothing will be done but to marginalize your and our arguments.

No it doesnt. The Supreme Court settled the issue until laws change. The gun argument clearly demonstrates that laws can be changed.
If you dont understand how our legal system works, dont run around embarassing yourself by telling others their argument is marginalized.
I suppose we can always follow the Obamacare strategy and put a "tax" on abortions, charing $1,000,000 tax, to have one..

Really? I think if we are going to compare it, we should do it right. We have millions of illegal immigrants in this country, all desperate individuals, capable of terrible things. A gun, by definition doesn't hurt anyone without a person behind it. We sale hundreds of thousands of guns illegally without background check every month. But it only takes one person buying lots of guns.
I'd say that the background checks work most of the time. I think we should document every worker in this country, I think we should have a background check for each of them, and background checks for every gun sale.

If say 1 out of 1000 immigrants commits crimes against US citizens like the Two brothers who bombed the Boston marathon, then why not ban immigration if it will save even one life? Why are Americans [liberals] willing to give up their second amendment rights but at the same time are willing to live with the problems that some immigrants cause?
The left uses the same argument against guns, but not against immigrants. If a gun ban will save just one life, if a magazine ban will save just one life, then ban them. Well if by banning immigration it saves one life then why not stop it?
