You guys are all arguing whether it's a felony, a misdemeanor, blah, blah, blah. It doesn't matter if you got caught or not when you take the lie detector/psychological exam.
More so.

Why not?
It's not your country (as you said) so why should we care about your opinion?
If you're a citizen, you have every right that every other citizen has.
(Unless it's being president).
That's how the US works, unless you're gay; then you have fewer rights than other citizens.
Since you are not "USA first", your opinion does not count either.
You are a shame of this great nation.

Oh, BS.
The US firsters are the shame.
I realize that the US is a pretty good country, but that there are numerous pretty good countries.

You are an American, so you SHOULD put USA first.
This is your motherland.

It is criminal.

Section 1325 sets forth criminal offenses relating to (1) improper entry into the United States by an alien, (2) entry into marriage for the purpose of evading immigration laws, and (3) establishing a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading immigration laws. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) amended 8 U.S.C. § 1325 to provide that an alien apprehended while entering or attempting to enter the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty.

This is what the left wants. If they can give enough stuff to illegals, they can stay in power forever. When you can't get enough real votes add voters sympathetic to your cause. The left has not compunction about destroying the nation if it keeps them in power.

Apparently not for the police department that hired him.

Really? Don't you think every cop out there has broken the law, big or small, of some sort? Speeding? Running a red light? DUI? Smoking pot? Getting in a bar fight? Statutory rape?
I don't know enough of the details to form an opinion.

I do have a questions though.

IF he was an ILLEGAL Alien, HOW did make money?

How did he live?

Did he work?

Did he pay FICA taxes?

If so, how did he get a Social Security number?

Did he file taxes?

How did he become a citizen?

Why WASN'T he charged with being an illegal alien and deported?

There are others questions not explained in the brief story.

As for the OP, not collecting welfare, not working off the books, giving back to the country he now calls.his own. The nerve of him not adhering to the stereotypes.

Was he apprehended or convicted? That is the only thing that matters. Conviction in a court of law.
