I'm certain he was not ignored, and I'm also certain the folks who prepared the talking points had more sources of information than he did.
Senior White House and State Department officials played a much larger role than they acknowledged in drafting erroneous administration “talking points” about the Sept. 11 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, according to congressional investigators preparing for a dramatic hearing Wednesday in the House.

Another massive Red Herring from the bastion of desperation.

We are talking about the ineptitude, the malfeasance, the treason, the coverup by, and read this very carefully, Obama, Clinton and the Administration in general, who are, surprise, surprise - DemocRATS.

No desperation. Just showing that history shows our government officials are not beyond reproach.

Also showing that there were those defending Nixon before all the dirt came out on him.

Also shows that power can corrupt.

Cummings praising whistleblowers?? He just wants people who know where the bodies are buried to speak out so that he and government can bury them. We've seen over time how whistleblowers are treated. Ask Tom Drake and John Kiriakou how things turn out when you blow the whistle on the CIA. You end up with trumped up charges and the possibility of facing jail.
Or at the minimum the IRS crawling up your behind with a microscope. Pity when a federal agency is used as a weapon.
