Well I read them. Good Lord the government is just as bad as the big multi-national when it comes to this type of stuff and I sure had my share over the years of flying emails with everyone wanting to have their say.
Looks like Morrell did the heavy editing and the State Dept is the one that worried the most about looking bad.
In the end it was all about how they looked when the public was presented with this info.
It was "softened" up so no one looked like they screwed up.
And I also got the sense that people outside of those email addresses looked and gave input so we'll never really know all the players in those edits.
Nuland said her building leadership wasn't happy which means they saw the emails but didn't directly send/receive any themselves.
Guilty ? Yes of caring about maintaining their perception to the American public and avoid any and all criticism.

They released these, because they are already old news, since the press already released them. Now I'm wondering if the White House was not the source that released the email revisions to the press last Friday.
They cut references to Al Qa'ida and the attack became a violent demonstration. Where's the video in all of this? Or was that what the demonstration was in Cairo?
Unfortunately it is not a crime for a politician to lie while not under oath. Even then they usually get away with it.
I like how the left has now moved on from, Obama didnt lie, to now its not a crime..
