The only thing I can say about ann coulter's statement is, "No ann, it's not legal or illegal immigration that ails the USA, It's actually complete and total idiots like YOU that are the root of almost all problems in the country. Not only are you the root of all the problems, it's you and your fellow azzhats that prevent any and all solutions to any of the problems that ail the nation. If you and everysingle like minded fool was to disappear from the planet right this minute we would all benefit greatly from your absence".

She is typical. Her parents made sure they'd arrive in US before her birth, so that she would be born here, which would benefit them in the immigration process.

In the case of the non citizen mother they are referring to a mother being in our country illegally, not legally.

So illegal immigration doesn't ail the USA in any way? As for legal immigration it is good when in controlled numbers so that we have jobs and resources to accomodate them and when it is also diversified.
