I'm glad the ladies are getting compensation. But they werent mistakenly shot! They were shot on purpose! How many years in prison are the cops getting for their homicidal road rage? (How many years in prison would a citizen get if they fired dozens of rounds into the back of someone's truck?)
Maybe they thought that the newspapers would blow up - kind of like the teacher in West Virginia apparently thought that the student's shirt would fire all on it's own.
Too bad the cowboy cops aren't paying with everything they own and then locked up for attempted murder like would be the case if one of us little people were found guilty of such an act.
I'lll bet they are still on the force assigned desk jobs and getting paid until the publicity dies down.
obviously they were fully cooperative with the cops or they would have not given them the money. very disappointing.
we need robo cops badly, humans just keep making these kind of mistakes. i think in my own lifetime we may see them. these microsecond decisions are best made by machines.
The LAPD has no qualms about giving $4 million out to make this mess go away, yet they're doing everything in their power to not have to honor the $1 million reward for the couple that was held hostage by Dorner in the last day leading up to his death....
What the hell happened to the idiot cops who shot at em? They just cost the city 4 million bucks. The DA makes it sound like these women just won the lottery. He says they can spend it however they want. Isn't that nice of em. Gimme a break. Those cops should be fired. They will probably get promoted.
