I believe you said you wanted universal background checks, so how would someone without a government issued ID card legally purchase a gun?

Of course it is, why is the second the only one Democrats want to ignore?

Only if having it notarized is free and easy to access for anyone mailing in a ballot, then it is done and done.

That's just here though.
Actually someone who is homeless still has a right to vote, having a home isn't a requirement to vote.

Purchasing a gun requires the buyer to pay a fee, should we get rid of that fee for exercising a fundamental enumerated right?

Possibly, it might be worth trying to challenge such fee in court.

I know, but if you have to show an address and you don't have one you can't vote. As far as I know there is no special program for the homeless. Maybe the shelters let the homeless receive mail there, but I've never heard of that.

I don't know about other states, but in New Jersey you just have to check the box "homeless" and state which intersection you are most frequently near.

People should be required to show ID in order to vote.

And people should be subject to thorough background checks when buying guns from any source, whether public or private.
Problem solved.

Actually every state, that I am aware of, offers free identification.. Care to show me a state that doesn't..
