I suppose those with 40 hour work weeks, will be happy to hear that their hours should go down to 29 hours because its a good thing.

Wait, even more ironic, arent you the one moaning because we were cutting back on a few days work for the IRS employees A YEAR, and only temporary? Now its a good thing?

What a hypocrite.. Whatever it takes to high 5 failure, right?
What a scam the business world has ran on the American worker. So what if your hours are cut, more time with the family and doing what you enjoy. The business world just sits back and watches every raise, every Over time trend and every bonus. They then just charge you MORE for everything. Wake up people. You are no better off than when you made $3.35 an hour and you will never be because the greedy are always watching and you getting ahead because of working longer hours is a shell game.

How old are you that you actually think getting your hours cut equates to more time with your family? Most people I know that have had their hours cut, have to get 2nd jobs, that pay even less because the demand for part time jobs are increasing so they can offer lower wages, so they end up working 50 hours instead of 40.

For all of this progressive **** we keep hearing about, this isnt very progressive, unless your goal is to move backwards.

Do not be fooled people. Since the rich of this Country have been on a decades long war against the American worker let's punish them by not buying all this stuff. Let them see through the only thing they understand that we deserve HC and our wages should be equal to the market. All credit should be frozen and then people can only spend what they make. Then we will have a true economy

I think he's talking about going into voluntary poverty and collecting all the benefits he would be eligible for. Then he would have plenty of leisure time. What a concept, eh? That will show them.

What? You?
You've already stated the impossibilities of those things about a million times.

Nope. I'm talking about living a decent life instead of working 85 or 90 hours or more a pay period just for some greedy person to raise the price of a loaf of bread. You know when people say "I remember when one person could work and you still could have things". Well, guess what the greedy did when women went to work?

People spending more than they make was their choice. It was from their own greed and materialism. I became self-employed a long time ago in an attempt to avoid all this drama but I must tell you, our government has huge issues with self-employed folks. It offers a level of independence that makes them squirm so they respond by making it more difficult.
