Pictures (Proof) & or actions speak volumes.

I am sure pro gun supporters turn outs was much larger. The NRA experienced record membership. There was record gun purchases in recent months as well as 1st buyers.

Equating the number of people who show up at a "Stop the NRA" rally with the numbers showing that a majority of Americans favor further restrictions on gun purchase registratlions ... means nothing. Well, it means whomever makes the suggestion there isn't support for tightening registration rules ... doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

Sure. They have the NRA and gun manufacturer lobbyists renting buses and hiring people to stand in the crowd. That doesn't mean it's popular.

I don't think there is a more quintessential, cliched stereotype of redneck white-trash than a person bragging that they got a great deal on Walmart ammo and call it a "good day." Why perpetuate that?

Good for you... you got a deal.

The support for gun control is a mile wide and an eighth of an inch deep. If you ask a lot of people if they support gun control, they'll say yes, but never think about it again. When it comes to elections, these people are driven by other issues, and this doesn't likely make a difference.

The support for gun right is a half mile wide, but a mile deep. People who support gun right are very dedicated to it, and will take action about it. They will vote based on it, and they will let their representatives know that.
