What about it?

It was severely damaged by the debris from WTC1, burning uncontrolled, built with a unique vulnerability due to its placement over an electric station, identified early on by first responders as being likely to collapse, and then suffered a progressive catastrophic collapse once the key supporting structures were weakened enough by the fires.

There is no mystery here.

9-11 Was a conspiracy by definition. There were many terrorists that conspired to carry out an attack and did so.

It is pretty sad when the tin foil hat crowd jumps on a guy for using the correct word.

The word conspiracy does not exclusively mean a plot by the government. The two men who did the Boston bombings conspired to commit terrorism.

My guess is that Bush recognized it would have been a poor choice of words, and pulled back.

As I watched the towers burn on that terrible morning I couldn't help but think what a brilliant plan it was and what group could have possibly thought of it. When the evidence started to come out and fingers pointed to bin laden I thought there was no way that robe wearing towel headed goat herder could have conspired, funded and organised an attack like that without help. The mere fact it happened on September 11 is a tactic used by intelligent torturerers. In the past some have used common household items (think a coke bottle) to torture and cause long term torment from their prey everytime they see the item. Who doesn't think about the attacks when they hear the familiar dial 911 for an emergency. Coincidence? I don't think so.
I have always thought that 911 was allowed to happen so we could get into a war and go after Sadam. Our guys, the CIA might not have helped but I refuse to believe that our officials were that asleep that they totaly missed this master scheme.

Oh how I miss George W Bush and his eloquent speaking skills.

But yeah, there was a conspiracy by the terrorists during 9-11. Correct choice of words, but he censured himself to not give more fuel for the crazies. I'm pretty impressed he would even think about that. lol

I do think there was a conspiracy to use the terrorist attacks to push their own war agenda, though. But that's not what he is talking about.

I am sorry that you are so racist ("towel heads") and dim witted (impossible for AlQuedia to carry out the plan).

That "robe wearing towel headed goat herder" was a university educated multimillionaire with a degree in civil engineering who had been involved in jihad for more than 20 years.

You can't judge a goat herder by his cover.
