I don't begrudge the taxes I pay. However, I didn't enjoy writing that GINORMOUS check (double since last year) April 15. But I've gotten over that by now.

I realize that in order to enjoy the perks of civilized society, taxes are simply a part of life.

yes, but they dont have to be.. there are plenty of countries the function in an orderly society, living just as good of a life without paying a CENT in taxes.. no sales tax, no income tax, no property tax, no capital gains tax. the government of UAE tax oil companies at 50%.. thats it.. no-one else.. thats what they run on.. everyone else, is tax free.

I can accept some taxation. What I find unacceptable is the waste of our money by the thieving a-holes in government, and a government that continually grows and assumes more authority and power over our lives.

Also... the people demanding that others pay more, when these others pay way more than they do already, should just shut up.
