action against religion?? the only action that I've ever taken is to say I hate religion nothing more.. it is just my opinion.. I don't believe in fairy tales.. especially barbaric ones that preach hate and lies and are the cause of half the problems on this planet with people..
as far as sharia, that sheet sucks.!!!! women have no rights and are treated worse than a dish rag, you cant drink alcohol, and on and on, would you want to live by sharia law?? not me, never ever..
Again, it depends on what you are personally defining "sharia law" as, because there is no consensus on it meaning anything specific. None. Perhaps you have heard otherwise, but do consider your sources if that is the case.
And I may have mistakenly assumed you were for banning Muslim immigration (either permanently or "temporarily"). If so, I apologize. But if I was right and you are for preventing Muslims from immigrating here, that means you are for taking action against people based solely on their religious beliefs, which would make you no better than religious extremists, IMO.
I have many Muslim friends here and in Iran, they have all been very friendly and have invited me into their holmes.
Truth I would much rather see them freely come and go over Latinos coming illegally.
brushrunner
Your Iranian friends left Iran because of the Iranian revolution when Iran became an Islamic nation. Iranians in the west are very secular, and many of them left Islam. I know many Iranians, or they call themselves Persians became atheist, agnostics or Christians.
One look at muslim-friendly Britain, France or Sweden should answer this question for you.
Do you look forward to the smell of hundreds of cars burning in American cities?
If you do vote NO.
This is a perfect example of why mindless Americans/people can't be trusted to make these decisions.
Religion, in general, is bad for believers and non-believers... it doesn't matter if believers/non-believers live by all of the religious "commandments" due to their own conscience or "wrong" religion, if they don't claim that the other's specific "God is the reason," then they are still just "non-believers." Hence, a lot of dead people for no real reason.
More fearmongering on the subject of the latest chosen religion or group of people to hate. Well, at least those who are anti-religious in general are not hypocrites (targeting Muslim Americans or those who would like to be while not saying a word to the Jewish, whose extremists have been shown to commit more acts of terror in the U.S. than Muslims and whose religious texts command even more violence), even if they are incapable of rational thought.
The fact of the matter is that the majority of religious people, in any religion, are not causing any trouble at all. Neither terrorism nor, say, promoting discrimination against others based solely on their religious views...
Muslims treat women like property, and want them to cover up lest a man should lust after them. They see homosexuals as abominations. Do we really want to let more people of this mindest come here when so much progress has been made in these areas? And for what? A fairy tale. We already have enough people here who believe in fairy tales. The last thing we need is more.
There is an online petition to stop and ban immigration from Islamic nations to the United States after the Boston bombings and other radical Muslim terror against the U.S. and the west.
What do you think?
What about the acts of terrorism from our own government? Or from whites? Or blacks?
Why just Islamic immigrants?? What about so-called "christian" terrorist?
Islamic people have a more positive presence in this society than Conservatives do. I say we encourage Islamic people to come, greatly value those who are here, and kick Conservatives out. This would benefit this country mightily.
Whoa, big fella. Where are you going to send them? We sure don't want them. They wouldn't like it here anyway: health care is available to all, they wouldn't be allowed to carry their widdle gunny-wunnies, and women are free to choose to carry fetuses to term or not as they see fit no matter how sad it makes right-wingers.
I suggest you send the forced-birth advocates to Ireland, the homophobes to the Muslim caliphate of their choice, the racists to . . . I don't know, South Africa maybe? The torture supporters can be sent to Bulgaria or something for extraordinary rendition. The scientific denialists have to start over, send them back to kindergarten. The rest get shot into space.
