California town appoints 2 undocumented immigrants to city commissioner posts | Fox News Latino

I'm at a loss for words. If the left starts reaching this far, I think it might be time to talk about an amicable divorce for this country. I just can't see how I can share a country with people who have this much blatant disregard for the law.

Well they aren't getting paid so it's ok they help run the government.

In other cities the illegals can vote in local elections.

It's just a matter of time....the clock IS ticking.

You're right. We will.

Why do you think illegals should be allowed to hold public office? This would never fly in Canada, the UK, Scandinavia, or any other countries/regions that many on center to far left aspire to be. Why do you seem to part ways with these countries in terms of illegal immigration?

In the US, I think cities and states should make up that decision, so my opinion on should illegals be allowed to hold a nonpaying parks and rec job doesn't really matter because I don't live there, nor do I know the issues going on in Huntington Park to make any claims.

The article did state the one man had been here since he was 13, I have no problem with making people like that become legal Americans.

No, I don't believe in open borders but I don't believe in closed borders either. I am also a regionalist but understand we live in a global economy.

What if illegal immigrants had a propensity to vote for Republicans.
