Does this guy look effeminate?
He's a gay rugby player.

What about this guy?
He's a gay MMA fighter.

Or this guy?
An openly gay boxer.
It's like arguing with turnips. Though their responses are rather amusing in a pathetic sort of way.

So he is still the first openly gay basketball player or is the title changed to first openly bisexual basketball player?

Their responses are hurtful, and ignorant. I refuse to play nice anymore.

No clue how people think they can tell by looking at someone or talking to them whether or not they are gay.

I've know gay men who acted like an incarnation of John Wayne, and straight men who acted demur and effeminate. Unless a gay man is trying to advertize it, by clowning it up with a lisp and all the bells and whistles of the stereotypical flaming gay, I don't see how a person can tell in a casual meeting, or even if they are a co-worker in a different department.

It is a disgusting suggestion.

But considering the source, not a surprising one.

Only one in 500 Americans is a black gay or bisexual male, but black men who have sex with men (MSM) account for one in four new HIV infections in the United States

The number of gay black men with HIV is twice that of gay white men, the report found. In fact, in New York City, cited as one of the three best cities to live in for gay black men, they are 488 times more likely than other males, and 325 times more likely than black heterosexual males, to be diagnosed with the disease.

Have you any idea how whopping of a number disparity that is? To put that into perspective, people who smoke are 15 to 30x more likely to have lung cancer. We're talking about something that's 325 to 488 times more likely to get a disease. That's a health epidemic if there ever was one.

Yet this doesn't matter just like all the overwhelming other objective data that can be examined that says children grow up best in two parent home with their biological parents

Everything this culture does is to destroy that in rebellion and under the guise of "freedom"

Gay black men are more at risk than gay white men because of the higher stigma against homosexuality in the black community. More have to hide their orientation, and any time people have to keep their sexuality secret, their risk of HIV goes up. They are unlikely to be tested and start treatment, for example, which makes them more likely to transmit the virus to other, probably also closeted, partners.

It is very simple really. Removing the stigma of homosexuality prevents the spread of HIV. This is well known in the public health community.

Sorry to see you are on the wrong side of public health and would prefer that gay men would just go away.

Just trying to come down to your level. Other posters will post the valid rebuffs of your silly rhetoric, me, I just make fun of y'all as a way of pointing out the silliness.

I would also guess that the white men in that study had more formal education and were more economically stable than their black counterparts...as is the case in the general population.

We know this folks: education, economic stability and a great support system tend to produce healthy individuals who are accepting and lead better lives regardless of race, religion, etc.

So here's a hint...quit stigmatizing, hating, and discriminating against people you don't like. You're just spreading misery.
