Do you see yourself as those separate cultures or one blended culture? Blended cultures do not maintain the same cultural traditions and customs. Do you agree?
Blended cultures are new cultures that come from established cultures. My culture here in America comes from Latin America, North America, Africa, Europe and Asia. We maintain our traditions that come from all of these traditions. New traditions.
I did not hate living in the UK, although if given a choice, I would rather live in the U.S.
But we look at interracial relationships as social progression and a positive thing.
You would hate it in the US since you certainly don't think it's positive.
Then as a mixed race person you have no credibility on the subject, because to denounce interracial relationships as a mixed person is to denounce your own existence. This is why I think mixed race people do not belong in this discussion because you are inherently biased.
Sounds like mixed race supremacy to me.
I think to retain our ethnic identities as they exist today is to retain diversity and to champion humanity as it has existed for thounads upon thousands of years. Diversity is a good thing. Wouldn't you agree?
Of course! But you need to remember that your ethnic identity is a fusion of those that came before you, just as mine is.

Ethnic identity is a backward and irrational concept. Ethnicity has no value or meaning. It is an irrelevant characteristic. Your value is in what you do and what you achieve, not in the arbitrary wavelength at which light waves bounce off your skin.

The number of people living in this country that are purely one race are minuscule. MOST people are from at least two or three different ethnicity groups, and carry genetic markers for them.
I'm Cherokee, Irish, and Italian (that I know of) There are probably even more that I don;t know about.
Certain people will answer positively because it may be seen as less progressive to state otherwise. In my country the poll would show the opposite because although it is not a problem if someone were to choose a marriage partner who wasn't in the culture, it is not viewed as a positive.
Here, in this country, we allow people the freedom to choose what is best for them. If you don't like that fact, you can always go back to your country. You obviously don't consider this country to be YOUR country, so why are you here?

Wrong. Ethnic identity correlates directly with culture
There's no such thing as a Chinese Viking.
Ethnicity is more than skin deep. It's cultural as well. (additionally ethnicity is more than skin deep biologically being that races have radically different bone structures)
Ethnicity DOES have meaning. But you as a person are welcome to place no value on it. But that does not mean it doesn't have meaning because YOU think it doesn't.
You're just being arrogant and oppressing others with your own self-righteous world view.
I am an American. Lots of Americans are racial and/or ethnic mixtures. As are lots of Europeans.
Irish American.
My DNA structure is over 93% white european. Thus I'm white.
