I'd like to read that book one day... probably won't find in Dubya library though.

An estimated 692 children and young people have been killed since December last year.
Just for perspective, how many children and young people have died in Chicago, DC and NYC in that same time, compared with an entire country? Even so, not our problem. The Iraqi people were given every chance to form a stable democracy, and yet chose not to do so. Even after we did the dirty work of taking out a brutal dictator and his regime and spent billions of taxpayer dollars on them. Once more...handouts and welfare doesn't work, with a city or a nation. It just breeds more "takers" and eliminates incentive to be a doer.

difference of course being....we didn't use them....we also have sold billions in armanents to both sides....and here's one more irony for you....we trained them where I was stationed in Hawaii back in 1980...they were an allies then.....

Your point is off base. Iran used to be a friend too you know....oh and so did Germany at one time...prior to WWII.....

There isn't a country standing that we haven't regretted doing business with and short of you or I coming up with a crystal ball, no one will ever be able to tell which allies will be tomorrow's foe?

Look at China....help them in WWII, and now what?

He had weapons of mass destruction but, apparently for some, that only applies to nuclear arsenals. I believe we have tapped some of their brightest scientists to help us make our stockpiles of such weapons but, we don't deny having them and to our credit, haven't used them except twice...when necessary....don't you think?
