Look at the Chick-Fil-A disaster for Democrats. Looney lefties declared war on the restaurant chain because its owner supports traditional man-woman marriage. Democrat Mayors claimed to want the restaurants shut down. Weinie college types have started kicking Chick-Fil-A off of their college campuses. Such intolerance in the name of tolerance, eh? It’s scary how close their lockstep comes to a goosestep. Agree with liberals, or you are out of business – permanently!
Every "liberal" I know is a dysfunctional human being. I know many Democrats who are not liberals, they just vote for the poor and workers rights ect. But the liberals I know are all nuts.
By definition, Progressives seek change that they perceive as an improvement. This assertion assumes that things are never good enough -- someone is always being oppressed or treated unfairly, injustice never ends, and we cannot be happy with our advances when more progress can happen. So a non-stop parade of injustices are constantly pushed on Liberals to stoke their outrage and anger about how unfair the world is. Its how garbage like "microagressions" is now something that needs to be addressed -- they've run out of legitimate things to be outraged about.
Its a very 'glass-is-half-emtpy' way of looking at the world by focusing on what they still think is wrong rather than celebrating the things they have achieved, so they're perpetually upset that things aren't "good enough".
In the past few years, the left has:
- elected a Black man as President
- passed their massive healthcare legislation
- legalized gay marriage
- removed the Confederate flag and Ten Commandments from public spaces
- and plenty of other big 'advances'
But its never good enough. Conservatives are the only ones who have reason to be angry, as the things Conservatives value are constantly being chipped away and replaced by Liberal values. But polls show that Conservatives are still on average happier than Liberals.
I believe the fairly left liberals are mostly unhappy because they feel powerless and helpless. It's why they seem to always be looking to either blame someone, find something to be outraged about or take things from others via the government.
It's kind of a, "If I'm going to be miserable, I want everyone else to be just as miserable."

Seems a lot have to have pills to feel happy and worth something.......the ones I know are demanding and insecure.
"Why are liberals so unhappy, mean and depressed?"
Because stealing the property of others and controlling people isn't as easy as they thought it would be.
