This is what I found----so it depends.

I'm still waiting about the abortion clinics you mentioned. And how much do you think PP makes on abortion.

Wikipedia? Seriously? Abortion costs anywhere from $350 to $1000.

Bet she doesn't want to use that yardstick on the Catholic Church and pedophile priests.

As in, if some priests are pedophiles that means the whole Catholic Church is bad and should be closed down.

But of course they do. Even smart people get pregnant and don't want to go through that.

How about this:

Are you IN THE KNOW: Abortion Costs in the United States
Quote:
In 2009, the median charge for a surgical abortion at 10 weeks’ gestation was $470; but since most U.S. women obtain abortions at facilities with lower charges, the average amount paid was $451.[31] The median cost for a medication abortion was $490 and women paid an average of $483
Not even close to the average cost of a pregnancy.

Maternity Health Insurance : What is the Average Cost of Pregnancy?
Quote:
At an average of over $130 per visit, couples can expect to pay nearly $2,000 in prenatal exams alone.
Quote:
However, it is safe to average these costs between $6,000 and $8,000 for vaginal births with no complications
Now....which healthcare providers are making the big money? Those who deal with abortions or those who deal with pregnancies?

PP plus the medical inspectors in each state better be watching what is happening to women and abortions. That is if they care. Gosnell sure is giving them a black eye. Why not come out and condemn him? I can't see that it would hurt them, only help.

So you think women make up their minds to abort on cost? I think it's more on emotions but who knows in this economy.

But we do know abortion costs the babies their lives. How to you add that up?

I can't believe I have to repost this again.

RESULTS: The pregnancy-associated mortality rate among women who delivered live neonates was 8.8 deaths per 100,000 live births. The mortality rate related to induced abortion was 0.6 deaths per 100,000 abortions. In the one recent comparative study of pregnancy morbidity in the United States, pregnancy-related complications were more common with childbirth than with abortion.

CONCLUSION: Legal induced abortion is markedly safer than childbirth. The risk of death associated with childbirth is approximately 14 times higher than that with abortion. Similarly, the overall morbidity associated with childbirth exceeds that with abortion.

The comparative safety of legal induced abort... [Obstet Gynecol. 2012] - PubMed - NCBI
