If you keep the issues separate then no one connects the dots.

When it comes to abortion..a fetus "doesn't count" as life.
Yet it counts as "life" if a pregnant woman gets killed.
Also counts as "life" for welfare benefits.
According to Dr Gosnell a baby is still not "life"

Is a little strange the fine line and lowering the age kids should be having sex. I read one site that said, "If you haven't had sex by eight, your late" WTH are people thinking..........isn't this how the Talbain treat their young girls.

"Adult" is relative.

Is a 15 year old an "adult" ?
Only when it comes to birth control.

Is a 26 year old an "adult" ?
In all cases except health insurance.

And it's the government that tells you when they are an adult or when they are a minor/dependent.

Let that 15 year old try to buy liquor or cigarettes saying they are an "adult".
Then go try to file your taxes claiming your 26 year old as a dependent.

This is verifiably false.
Teen-aged persons are often tried as adults if they have committed serious enough crimes. These crimes are not solely related to birth control.

Seriously? At what age do you stop being your mother/father's child??

And where in the FDA ruling does it proclaim a 15 year old to be an adult?

Yeah.

A 14-year old can be tried as an adult.
An 18-year old is an adult and can join the military.
An 18-year old is not an adult and thus, cannot buy alcohol.
A 5-year old is too dumb to eat a Kinder Egg.
A 5-year old is perfectly capable of understanding gun safety.
A 16-year old is mature enough to drive a car - but not mature enough to buy a gun, alcohol, or tobacco.

Is this the first time you've noticed inconsistencies? Wow.
And who is the moron who thinks these inconsistencies have anything to do with liberal thinking?

Alas, I am my parent's child - and will be for a while...

Legally the government has the say when they are considered an adult or not.
That's what it comes down to.

But an 18 year old Marine who is going to risk his life for his country isn't mature enough to have a beer in a bar.

But girls can get abortions and not talk to their parents about it at age 15.

FUBAR system.

Better system?
15 year olds can drink and join the armed forces while 15 year old females are forced to have children.
