While the Bible is the word of God, Christians are not beholden to the laws of the Old Testament. Christian is a follower of Christ, and the laws of the NT.
Any Christians who use the OT to justify their bigotry or hateful attitudes are doing it wrong.
I know many who would disagree with this. But on the forefront of a good arguement is any one person who becomes obsessed within their religion obsessed, can be used in this arguement.
Many religions support a lot of things where the religion is being used, as the tool to be able to do the bad. At the frontline of any good arguement, religion is one that constantly comes up.
Many religious people very religious who are the biggest bigots and hypocrites around.
If your silly contention were correct, ALL Muslims would be on continous murderous pampage killing infidels non-stop, dayin and dayout... 24/7, every minute of every hour... all over the world.

While true, Christians and Jews believe in the same god, so if the NT is thr word of god so is the OT.

Muslims in America are a very tiny minority - less than 7% of the population but you hear something about them killing every single day somewhere in the world including the USA.
