This is not about sex tourism - it's more to do with ideology.

For a start, I am an expat so it's a different issue.

But this idea of 'liberal democracy' is really a sham - ie:'you are only free to be democratic if you agree with us'

It's a double standard. They want gay men to spend their money on the hotel so they advertise it as "gay friendly". Heteros might have a family so the hotel will try to display an image of "family friendly". Single heteros can just hook up anywhere, but in order to pander to the family image they frown upon female escorts. Give a woman cash = escort; pay for a woman's drinks, food entertainment = date.

If you check out the lastest LP for PP though, you will really see my point in action.

The latest edition ditches the well known girlie bars, but adds the gay (P4P) bars instead - that is a double standard IMO, for sure.
