I'm kind of wondering why you chose a user name that pays homage to an NFL player. Every Sunday millions of fans get wasted while they watch the games. If you dread booze filled holidays do you dread the 17 booze-filled Sundays of the regular season plus the play-offs? Not to mention the Superbowl.

No, his heart is not in the right place. I am tired of these damn moralists and nanny statists weaseling into everything. Their hearts are not in the right place because they know exactly where their policies will lead and they don't care. They aren't good people with good intentions but support bad policies. They are bad people with bad intentions who support bad policies.

Now if you excuse me I will be making cocktail I like to call a "Gleeful Frank" it is two parts scotch and three parts the angry tears of teetotalers and Neo-Prohibitionists.

This is the craziest thing we've ever celebrated......seems people don't care what holiday they celebrate if booze is involved.

Too bad we see it as a good thing to bring other countries holidays to our soil.....

Lowering the age of sex is a sure indication that more alcohol will be involved. Just because some kids may have sex at 15 doesn't mean adults should encourage it.

I do think when family events are going on people ought to keep drinking to a minimum....kids are watching.

I'll drink to that.

No kidding. Here in Cleveland there is a section of the stadium in the endzone called The Dawg Pound. It has been quite notorious for being where the rowdiest Browns fans sit! A lot of drinking going on. Having sat there many times myself (especially at the old stadium), I saw it first hand!
