Aren't libertarians just republicans that don't want to say they are republicans?

Hillary is not qualified to be president. Her ONLY executive experience got an ambassador murdered because she was asleep when that 3am call came in. Without the name "Clinton", Hillary would be a staff lawyer for some low-rent law firm back in her home state.

Typical talking point repsonse. The GOP is crapping in their pants and that is why the entire Benghazi incident is being brought up incessantly on Faux News. Didn't affect Obama's reelection, so doubtful that it will make a dent in Hillary's being elected, if she decides to run.

Personally, I think that the two party system sucks, but another right wing crazy in the White House is much too disgusting to contemplate.

It'd be an interesting match - a hawkish, pro-war Democrat who voted to go to war with Iraq vs. a Republican whose father staunchly opposed that same war.

Not to hijack the thread and get off on a tangent concerning the illegal war and occupation of a sovereign nation by the Bush adminstration, but...

Congress was foolish for trusting Bush who since the spring was public about setting up a rationale to invade Iraq. Congress allowed Bush to roll right over them with a carefully crafted strategy just before the election. Bush claimed he was interested in the viability of the UN... and resolutions had to be enforced. He claimed he was not interested in a war, it was a last resort. In reality he was stalling for time... until weather conditions were optimum. He never cared what Congress or the UN wanted. He was going to invade either way and played the public, Congress, and the UN like a fiddle... and We The People have let him get away with war crimes.

If you ignore all the endless litany of "whereas" after "whereas", and skip to the end of the 2002 Authorization To Use Military Force, it seems Congress approved a conditional AUMF, not a blank check. Here's the final section...

Not excusing anyone for voting for war, but Rand Paul is no saint, so let's not pretend he is.

What will the economy look like it 2016? right before Bush left office there was the housing and stock market crash. Lets say the economy is not so good and there is a deep stock market correction and 401ks get hammered. Will Hillary win? the same thing that happened to Bush could also be in the cards for Obama.

Damn lobbyism. Lobbyism should be illegal.
First of all let's straighten things out: Rand Paul is not a libertarian, he is a Republican leaning conservative, -big difference. His father Ron Paul was a libertarian and once was the libertarian canidate for president. He wasn't successful as a libertarian so he joined the Republican party, but still has some kooky libertarian ideas. Rand Paul has some very intelligent and sound ideas, I'm a little dubious about his dad.
