At minimum, manslaughter. Murder 2 or 3 are also possible, though I think murder 2 is unlikely.

Uh, we should find out if the kid was black. If he was they shouldn't charge him. He was probably being profiled by the referee. Besides all that, Al Sharpton & Jessie Jackson would call for riots in the streets...

This whole thing is sad all around......life in prison is not the answer, not sure what is. Glad I'm not on the jury!

That is the correct answer.

Now the liberal answer!

It wasn't his fault because he was abused as a child and bullied in school. He should be given free counseling for a year, then he should join PETA so he understands the value of all life not just human life. He can then, and only, then be free to suck the financial life out of all those around him by living off entitlement programs, and free housing. He will be free from the bondage of ethical, civil and moral law to explore his sexual identity and become the man or woman he/she was meant to be!

Sound about right eh?

Not to me, and I'm a liberal. Your viewpoint is wrong, IMO.

To respond with violence to a freaking penalty in a soccer game? There is a problem somewhere.

He needs to be held accountable, Charge him with manslaughter.
