Radicals Muslims are making use of courts in the U.S. to clear the way to imposing Shari'a law on their own people within the U.S.

Ref:
The Muslim woman in Florida who wanted to wear the chador in her driver's license picture.
The 'Flying Imams' who wanted to sue NW airlines for removing them from their flight.
The taxi drivers in Minneapolis who refuse to transport dogs or liquor.
Muslims in Europe and in the U.S. who practice 'stoning' or other simple murder of their women for violating Islamic 'proprieties'.
Muslims who want 'foot baths' in public restrooms, for cleanliness when they pray.

The establishment of Islamic 'proprieties' is only a beginning to their long range goal of establishing Islam and Shari'a law as a way of life throughout the world. As a comparison, think evangelical christian, 'spreading the word' throughout the world. Same concept, different message.

And yes, they're coming for you.
None of the examples you mentioned display any progress in the imposition of "sharia law on the citizenry" by these crazy radical American muslims that you're so afraid of. The legal examples are "accomodations" that should and (I believe are) applied to all religions equally-- if not that can be challenged in court. All this Islamophobia is counterproductive. I find the idea especially offensive that all of Europe is somehow "declining into Islamist rule," based on some threadbare evidence of a few protests and rogue actions... you know, maybe, just maybe, all these Muslims who immigrate to liberal democracies from oppresive Islamist regimes MIGHT have something to do with most of them not liking to live under oppresive Islamist regimes? Maybe? Have you guys considered that? And have you considered that, despite what you might think about people who eat varieties of different types of cheese and make weird, artsy porn movies and smoke cigarettes without filters, that all these Euro guys just MIGHT, possibly, not be the type of ******* who would buckle down under "sharia law," even if in some bizarre parallel universe their governments actually tried to implement it?

I mean... hell, all you have to do to get French people to go out on the streets and protest/riot is relax a few labor laws or elect a president they don't like. I kind of wish we had a little more of that here.

I'm out to capture the white whale of ignorance and hatred and penetrate its thick blubber of insulation with my golden spear of truth and justice.

Sort of like the African slaves who were brought to America to live and work however they weren't considered to be "human" according to the Constitution and had no rights.
You didn't mention the dhimmi tax.

If we keep up with this idiotic, self-deprecating Political Correctness, trying to constantly accommodate "others" by suppressing & erasing our own traditional Western, Judæo-Christian, Anglo-American culture...then, YES!

I'm SOOOOOOO freakin' sick and tired of our doofus "thought leaders" and cultural elites always bending over backwards to please anti-Americans, quasi-Americans and non-Americans

Very true. There will be minarets on Barcelona cathedral long before they overtake the USA.

But, here's hoping we pay close enough attention, learn from the Euros, and avoid their fate!

Heck, we really ought to follow the example of the Aussies (http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200508/s1445181.htm - broken link)!

The OP's question is...

Quote:
What is a Dhimmie? I have heard this term before but really don't know what it is.
mmmmm, the French, Muslim French that is, have already done the protesting, set fires, property destruction.... and this while Jacque Chirac was their fearless leader. Switzerland is developing protocol to remove Islamic trouble makers from that country.

How? Score another one for dhimmitude...

Quote:
Muslim groups will receive £70 million in Government funds to help tackle extremism in "ungoverned spaces" such as internet chat rooms and snooker halls.

Hazel Blears, Communities Secretary, said that the money will be targeted at Muslim communities and rejected suggestions that the funding discriminated against other faith groups.
