I don't know why this guy will not learn. I guess he is just a glutton for punishment. Here he is again kissing the rear ends of Republicans. I am sure they would both like to use that iron on the back of his head. And probably would if nobody was watching!

I suppose he should be more like Republicans. Just say no, no, no, no, no, no, no, wash, spin, rinse, repeat until you are blue in the face.

So the two sides are working on a compromise. I fail to see how this makes either side look bad or weak.

Not sure you can make a judgement on that until you see what deal is worked out.

Well, his job is to get things done. A bit of butt kissing comes with that. As does some ball busting. He did some of that last week, over the gun bill.

I wish the republicans would stop being such d-bags, but I think the president has to try to be an ambassador, even if most of the time it is scorned. Balance of powers.

Lol! How do you know it's not a case of the republicans kissing Obama's rear end?

LOL

So when the President is saying, "It's my way or the highway," then he's "reaching across the aisle," but when he's actually reaching across the aisle, he's "kissing up to Republicans."

You guys are freaking hysterical.

I'd say that reaching out to moderates on the other side is PART OF HIS JOB and I'm pleased to see him do it.

Thanks for pointing it out.

When did Obama ever say, "It's my way or the highway?" Like never.

I'm not sure how golf translates into butt kissing. Out in the real world, that's the way that relationships are built and deals are done...

And yet, if he didn't make any effort to build relationships with the other side, then you folks would be complaining that he never makes any attempt to build bridges or communicate with the republicans. It really doesn't matter what Obama does or doesn't do. With certain people, it will always be a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't when it comes to this president.
