It's Time To Stop Playing The Blame Game And Being Politically Correct
"Before long as soon as I publish this hub someone is going to come along and blame everything on one political party or the other. But let me tell you both of the political parties are to blame and they want to keep your mind off things like the lost Textile Industry Jobs. We need to throw all the bums out of office. Neither the Republicans or Democrats are able to make it work but we keep electing these morons. And we play their politically correct games."
So it's "politically correct" to let companies outsource jobs, not ban imports of steel/textiles/automobiles, people to vote for politicians in the political parties...and all the calls for everyone who doesn't agree with him "sheeple"?
This guy is a loon babbling barely coherent BS. He needs to learn what words like politically correct mean before using them.

No, he's right, although I agree the truth could have been delivered better. It's just the internet so what do you expect? But it might lead someone (gasp!) to pick up a book and study the topic. Our trade deficit when we sold out to China, for instance, shot up to almost 2 trillion.

Where do you get trillion from? Are you talking about cumulative deficits?
The machine was being constructed way before I was born. Hell, before my dad was born.
It is now fully operational and every attempt to dismantle it, has been deflected by those in power.
Look how they give us two Progressives to "choose" from, each Presidential election cycle.
Nothing changes, even though the party in power did.
When exactly do you think we sold out to china? Last year?
Your chart needs to go back before Clinton signed the China free trade act, in October of 2000

One case study that points to the trade deficit was WalMart, who played the game well to their benefit. They'd bicker with suppliers sometimes even over a PENNY difference in price and often told US manufactores that if they were smart, they'd move ops to China where labor was a lot cheaper. Many did so as to keep their WalMart contracts and bam, factories closed left and right and moved production offshore, mostly to Asia. The reason WalMart can offer cheaper prices (which is highly overhyped) is because of this, and their revenues shot up because they paid so little for what they retailed. I remember in Ohio it destroyed Rubbermaid and some TV component production plant in southern Ohio. It's ugly to read about.
