I don't see why it's so bad for Asian chicks to seek out white "trophy" husbands. Relationships are partly material in nature - a man might like nice legs and a sweet personality, while a woman wants financial security - and of course it's so much more complex than that, but those may be the initial attractions. A sweet demeanor turns me on, literally arouses me sometimes, almost as much as killer legs.
Also, it's not just poor Asians from other countries looking for white husbands - I read an article from a professional American Asian woman once, who had noticed that many of her colleagues preferred white men, and so she tried to figure it out. I think it had something to do with white guys being less rigid and domineering, and more interested in friendship.
I've seen a lot of Asian and white professionals dating each other in California and Seattle.
So, women have been selecting partners based on the amont of resources they command since the beginning of time. I dont have to cross the county line to find that

Honestly, most Asian women living around me are married to White men. The only ones who aren't are the Indian women. They are married to Indian men. Every other group of Asian women living near me has a White husband. Its so common. I remember listening to something on the radio that discussed how IR marriages comprised of men with Asian women, and women with Hispanic husbands last the longest. Maybe there is something to that. My brother (Black) is married to an Asian women. Out of his friends who married, IR, he is the only one who didn't marry a White women. All of his friends did, and are now divorced. He is still married.
