No, lets not.

The suicide rate increases in states with higher gun ownership. The availability of a gun increases the capability and likelihood to complete the act. Something that people without a gun get another chance

and Accidents? seriously? Its Darwin? not really. If the gun user is a kid, its not an intellegience issue. IF the death is not the gun holder/owner its not a darwin issue. If you shoot your kids friend, the gene pool is no better off. Your still alive

the gun owner

If by accident you say we automatically sentence the gun owner to death for a accidental discharge resulting in death . . .then maybe.

How convenient.

Just wondering, but where did MSNBC get these data?

More importantly, why on earth would they report something that doesn't support their "agenda?"

Inquiring minds want to know.
The article says the statistics come from the Centers for Disease Control.

But the anti-gun people, especially politicians, want us to believe there is a gun violence epidemic. And most, but not all, of the media has blindly followed along. It is nice to see real data reported.
I've heard the drop in homicides could be partially related to the aging of the baby boomers. Young people tend to be more violent than older people.

Yes, lets, because if you did not you on the left would have nothing to scream about.... lets also throw out all the gang violence deaths...

And if they don't use a gun, the get a second chance to kill themselves, really? Any stats to back yourself up that the suucide rate goes up in states with higher gun ownership?

If a person deems it necessary to end their life, there is no better more effective means than a handgun.

I fully support the right of a person to commit suicide.

It is freedom of choice to do so.

Life circumstances for a substantial amount of people are more permanent and debilitating than those that spout the "" Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem "" mantra would care to admit.

It's my life, I deem when and how I leave this earth, not you, not government, me period, understand?
