Look, I actually hang out with pro football players on a regular basis - and they talk about their wives, girlfriends, children, and yes, even SEX, quite regularly. That's not heresay or even a news story, that's me actually relaying what I've heard personally from their mouths. Not that it matters, since the point is that BOTH straight and gay people discuss these things (whether they're an athlete or not).
Are you familiar with Kris Humphries? You'll forgive me, but I gave up on the NBA long ago, but I believe Humphries is a journeyman player notable almost exclusively for who he was screwing for a period of time. He seemed to use this relationship and his heterosexuality to further his status.
I could take right-wing a-holes who whine about this a bit more seriously if every once in awhile they also declared how sick they were of some phony-baloney Fellowship of Christian Athletes-type prattling on and on about his wife and their beautiful relationship. nope, I'm not a sports fan what so ever.. the closest I get to sports is I once owned a professional football team, (arena team, not NFL) and we didnt once give a crap about the players sexual orientation. I also coach kids soccer, but lord forbid I say that because these kooks will next suggest that I'm discussing pedophilia because the threads about gays..

My brother (that one) doesn't even care about sports, nor has he ever felt ashamed... thankfully for him, he has a family & friends who are supportive and never judged him. He's not even my real brother, and our support is part of the reason we "adopted" each other when he was young.

Nope, I never spoke for all gay people... I only ever said they share a demographic, which happens to be one that is constantly demonized and shamed. Never once said they all feel that way, just said they are part of that demographic. I'm a Jew who doesn't feel discriminated against personally, but am still part of a group that often faces discrimination. See the difference there? Nice try, though.

Once again, we're told repeatedly the thread isnt about what he's doing, or not doing in the bedroom.. Ask Gizmo, she's an expert on the subject. So when I said I dont care about the bedroom activities, this doesnt exclude the rest of the conversation, unless of course you think the only thing gays are good for is sex..

Oh you're beyond lying, now you're onto pleading ignorance and trying to back peddle from your previous position which was that gay doesnt mean their having sex, but somehow bedroom activities definately means your getting it on..
yes, its that dumb of an argument, where gays should be treated just like everyone else, until of course someone comes out as gay and then they should be treated all special..
