There's another article out there (I won't bother linking since you won't read it anyway) that says the Republican Senators blocking this vote have received over $2 million in donations from "dirty energy" companies. Go figure.

Oh, and I get a laugh how the neo-cons still cling to the one failure of Solyndra while ignoring all the successes under Obama at developing alternative energy solutions.

Ahhhh, Obstructionist politics...it gets a lot done in Washington, doesn't it?

Oh, wait, no it doesn't...that's the whole point. Do nothing, then blame the other guy.

What specific successes can you point to for the billions that have been spent?

Of course that's spurious. This is just your typical Alinsky response intended to shame. But, it is such a ridiculous accusation, and so baseless, that it only serves to show how despicable the Democrats are.

I think it is a brilliant tactic that the Republicans boycott the vote, and it is well deserved by the Democrats. It is how they should be treated, and Obama as well.

The Democrats are so egregious that this is the only way they can be dealt with.

There are none, and when asked, they cough up excuses and dis you for asking. They like to throw in little laughy things; they think giggling will cover the fact that they have nothing to say. They have no real answers. See below:

Then when pressed further, they can't back up what they said. They come up with insipid little quips they think makes them sound clever. They expect you to care enough to go on a wild goose chase finding imaginary answers they can't provide:

One result was to delay her confirmation, which still seems virtually certain in the long run since Democrats control the committee as well as the full Senate. The other result was to make the Republicans look not only vindictive but supremely childish.
It looks like you are the having the temper tantrum.

You guys are too much. On one hand you complain the repubs aren't doing anything.
Then you complain when they DO what one of their responsibilities is.

The worse fact is probably believe the dems have NEVER tried to stop ANY repub appointees.

What is good for the goose, is good for the gander! Pathetic.
