Well seeing they probably had a ton of groups with tea in their name, it probably made their job easier. They apologied, probably caught some tax issues, and the world moved on. But the Cons freak out because their conservative groups got audited. Do you guys want a gold star or something for something businesses deal with regularly or did you think conservative groups were exempt from being audited.
Fair and equal treatment under the law.
You're on the losing side....quit while you're behind.
Between Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, Black Panthers, and Reznik, this has to be the most corrupt administration in US history.
In a rational world, no other president would be able to avoid impeachment over benghazi and the IRS scandal. Obama, however, with the support of the "lap dog" media, will probably avoid prosecution and go on to commit more crimes. I think he will simply feel emboldened to "dial it up a notch" and see what else he can get away with.
The now resigned police chief of Pittsburgh, PA hasn't paid federal income taxes since 2009. I wonder how many other Democrats are doing the same thing?
And these are the folks charged with enforcing/auditing/penalizing, making that taxing under the healthcare act. Orwell's1984 may have arrived a bit late, but it is definitely here, now.
Profiling? But, we can't profile to protect us from terrorist? Progs have odd justifications for when to profile and when not to profile.

2004 Antiwar Sermon Brings IRS Warning All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena risks losing its tax-exempt status because of a former rector's remarks in 2004.

The Internal Revenue Service has warned one of Southern California's largest and most liberal churches that it is at risk of losing its tax-exempt status because of an antiwar sermon two days before the 2004 presidential election.
Rector J. Edwin Bacon of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena told many congregants during morning services Sunday that a guest sermon by the church's former rector, the Rev. George F. Regas, on Oct. 31, 2004, had prompted a letter from the IRS.
So if your party did what the other party did and you think the other party is so bad then isn't your party just as bad ?
Now, were there hearings ? Was it more than one single church ?
Did the IRS issue a public apology ?
