Not only is the CO2 levels up to record amounts, the fake science climate denier propaganda is up to record levels as well.
Climate deniers have to post to political forums because the fake trash they spew can't and won't be published in respectable science journals. The reason science journals don't accept their propaganda is because it's not based on science. When climate denial is based on legitimate science then I'll have an open mind to it; until then, climate denial is all clap-trap.
The fact is human-caused climate change is ramping up rapidly, as extreme weather becomes more common with severe floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, glacier and sea ice melt, etc. The evidence is piling up. And climate change is beginning to kill people now. That's a fact.
They're not up to record amounts. During the Ordovician-Silurian and the Jurassic-Cretaceous periods (approx 450 and 150 million years ago, respectively) CO2 levels were greater than 4,000 ppm and about 2,000 ppm, respectively. Had nothing to do with humans. Plus, there was no runaway greenhouse gas-induced global warming during those periods. Instead, there was glaciation. Spewing nonsense such as you just did is why so many don't take anthropogenic climate change nutters seriously.
You are under the misconception propagated by the media that all physicists support AGW- they don't.
Further, not all scientific articles are properly conducted or reflective of fact. One simply has to look at the Mann "hockey stick" article to understand this. That article was the "smoking gun" for the AGW crowd. However, given the very poor methods and statistics, Mann was voted by his peers to be dismissed from the Penn State Physics Dept. , only to be saved through political pressure from the Chancellor.
James Hansen, the champion of AGW, was considered to be an "academic embarrassment" by his mentor, James VanAllen (founder of the Van Allen radiation belts). Do you think Van Allen was a fool who did not understand the physics of CO2 and IR energy?
MANY of these AGW articles have very dubious methods and statistical analysis that do not pass the muster of proper methods or statistics. To presume that all "scientific articles" are correct is fool hardy.
