No way was Nixon going to resign over a winnable case involving a third rate burglary. His goose was cooked and he knew it. You can kid yourself that he resigned for the good of the nation, but most of us can see the obvious.

Clinton served out his full presidency. He lived in the White House for 8 years.
Don't confuse him with Richard M. Nixon, who resigned in disgrace.

On October 1, 2001, Clinton’s U.S. Supreme Court law license was suspended, with 40 days to contest his disbarment. It sure does. Clinton could have locked up Osama when he was offered to him and 9/11 would not have happened but he didn't. Obama still hasn't caught any of the Benghazi murderers so he is sleeping on the job as well.
Really? Do you know how Obama could make a HUGE dent in the "foreign oil" dependency issue? Right now, today, one of the LARGEST owners of cars in the United States is the federal government. Obama, TOMORROW, could change ALL of those cars, which use OIL/GAS, into electric or hybrid cars. All with a stroke of a pen.
Yet, he does not and has not. Even though this ideas was proposed to him 4 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of gallons of gas and MILLIONS of barrels of oil would have been saved. Yet? Federal employee's are still driving around in gas guzzlers.
Why? How come? So much for hope and change...
