This is a good point. If the US model is apparently so superior, why does no other industrialized nation use it, or even have a motion towards using it?

Yet millions more people immigrate to the USA than to any of those "better" countries. We certainly are offering something - we have far more immigrants than any nation on the planet.

They are. People have filed lawsuits to be able to carry private insurance.

It should be up to the individual states, not the federal government.

If a liberal state like California wishes to offer free health care to all who show up for it, they should be allowed to do so. Another state might want to have people buy insurance like responsible people have always done.

This should be one of the things left up to the states -- like the Consitution instructs.

It's "legend" not "legion" -- and legends are make believe stories. Waiting times are a few weeks and that's not "forever." Canadians like their system, which means it's a winner.

Jeez louise you've been debunked on that one how many times now but you just keep on with that failed premise.

Aren't you capable of any cognitive reasoning at all.

THERE ARE MORE OF YOU STEALING CANADIAN HEALTH CARE THAN THERE ARE CANADIANS HEADING SOUTH PAYING FOR YOURS!

Waiting times are a few weeks, or even a few months, if it's not urgent or life-threatening. Acute and urgent care services are top-notch and far from "broken".
He even got that backwards.

Where in the constitution does it talk about health insurance. That wasn't even a concept back then.

Another failed premise.

Canada takes in more immigrants on a per-capita basis then the U.S.. You're accepting .04% and we're taking in .08% TWICE as many per-capita.

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/canad...235820655.html

Since you are the one using immigration rates as a measuring tool; does that now make us "certifiably", "irrefutably" better?

Gee; according to your measurement scale, I guess WE are now the BEST eh?
