What a bunch of idiots. I hope they know that federal laws trump state laws, of course being republicans they probably don't.

It's kind of cool. Without tommyguns Bonnie and Clyde and Buck and Blanche Barrow couldn't have shot their way out of Joplin back in '33.

Missouri can't nullify any Federal Law. They can choose not to obey them, but not recind them.

I wish Missouri went all the way and passed a law making it illegal to accept any federal funds. They were not that stupid were they?

Missouri is typical of "tough-talking" States that rail on the Federal government out of one side of their mouth...and kissing the Federal government's ass for funds with the other side.

I hope that you know that the U.S. Constitution trumps federal law if the law is in conflict with the constitution, of course being a Democrat you probally don't.

Why shouldn't they accept federal funds? Their people paid into the funds.

As per the constitution the courts will just laugh this out of court. Ahh, the right wing conservatives... For all their shouting about the constitution they daily prove they don't know a thing about it.

You mean that once the Justice Deparment sues Missouri and Eric Holder loses, he will appeal and the appelate courts will refuse to hear the case because they realize that the Obama Administration is using the court system frivolously?

I agree.

It also includes a provision that makes it a criminal misdemeanor for any federal agent to attempt to enforce unconstitutional gun control measures in the state.
