Abortion was illegal when I was born, so moot point.
Abortion must remain legal, rare, safe, accessible, and a private matter between a woman and her doctor.
I was personally acquainted with a young woman in 1951. She was impregnated by her young man and in those days that was considered a very serious matter. She listened to some of her friends and deprived herself of sleep for nearly a week and took turpentine regulary trying to abort the fetus. She became very ill and was desperate. She went to a back street half assed physician in the closest city and he did an abortion on her for $75.00 and she didn't get back to anything approaching normalcy for a year. There will always be some people who will do anything for money but the idea of turning around a 40 year long decision so that young women will once again have to resort to that kind of thing is totally assinine
Now, now, the only lives that "pro-life" people care about anyway are the unborn. Most don't care what happens to them outside the womb. Hypocrisy on both sides, really.
Why would you say this......do you see people giving their kids away, sending them off at an early age for someone else to raise them?
Why do you feel pro-life people hate children when they are born?
I should have had 14 wonderful brothers and sisters, but they never had a chance to be born because my mother practiced birth control.
I wonder if they're sad?
Happy Mothers Day! Aren't you glad that your mom chose life?
I am glad to know that my mother chose to have me because she wanted me......not because some government bureaucrat somewhere forced her to have me against her will.
