I don't think you know what "begging the question" means.

What would lead you to hallucinate that there's anything automatically logical about consistency?

Brush up on your Emerson.

LOGIC says that people are much more likely to put stock into your opinion if you are consistent.

Please stop the "Pi**ing" match and return to the topic which is setting the age for consensual sex at 15. Seeing as most boys and girls are physically old enough for sex at 15 and many already enjoy each other at that age I see no problem with it. 15 is as good as any and better then silly suggestions like 21 or marriage whichever comes first (usually the guy). I mean when did these posters their first have intercourse? Do they even remember?

No. Logic says no such thing. Logic is completely silent on the issue of consistency, or stock in anybody's opinion.

Empirical observation, on the other hand, should lead any reasonable person to agree with Emerson that "a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."

You are engaging in 2 things...

1 - derailing a thread

and

2 - circular reasoning....because you clearly have no idea where you want to end up with whatever point you are trying to make.

If you have came this far to argue the context of the word LOGIC... then you agree to point 1 and you still lose.

Anytime, feel free to make a point.

Emerson should learn the definition of "subjective"

now, where are you trying to go with this again...

Sure why not... why allow them to have birth control, the "abortion pill" if they can't legally have sex. Might as well align the laws.
