Sorry, we have gone past that.

It’s a cliché, of course, but it really is true: in Washington, every scandal has a crime and a coverup. The ongoing debate about the attack on the United States facility in Benghazi where four Americans were killed, and the Obama Administration’s response to it, is no exception. For a long time, it seemed like the idea of a coverup was just a Republican obsession. But now there is something to it.

You've had 9 investigations and the most they came up with is that a talkingpoint was changed. Big deal. There was no hint of anything illegal or improper.

You can investigate till the cows come home hoping to find something to pin on Obama put it aint happening.
I don't think anyone cares about Obama since as noted, he isn't going to be able to get anything done from here on out.

I have two words for you--Ken Starr. The Republicans have shown that they are more than happy to open the taxpayers' checkbook and expend whatever massive amounts of time and money is necessary to find something--anything--they can then attempt to use to remove a democratically elected Democrat from office. The country can go down the drain while they put all of their energy towards this end. It is the only thing that matters to them.

Hell, just send the IRS after them. Intimidate them just like they did during the election.

So he can't get anything done because the GOP controls the house, but at the same time he's jammed his agenda down americans' throat.

Interesting perspective.

Which is a function of American politics and completely legal.

Not just him... all these nutbags. They just churn and churn and churn out one ridiculous and contradictory message after the other. Obama is a dictator, no he is a weakling lacking in leadership. Obama has the IQ of a Kiwi fruit, no he is a calculating, scheming, Chicago politician. I can't say its a recurring pleasure... I've ground my back molars down to mere nubs since discovering this freak show called the P&OC forum...

This is true. But don't pretend that just because the Republicans hold the House, it means that a majority of voters want them to.

What you say is true. However, most of those Republicans are coming from communities outside of large cities and the majority of voters in those communities do want them in there. Our Constitution was set up in a way that allows people outside of the large cities to actually have a say in the running of this country, instead of having things that are opposed to their values shoved down their throat without opposition. It was originally done to protect people who lived in small states from their interests being trampled on by larger states. Now it's a matter of the values and interests of the big cities versus the rest of us.
