I agree with you there. At this point, I'm just tired of the bull and the little punk ass one upsmanship that goes on in Washington constantly. I'm getting a headache.

What little interest I ever had in politics is slowly waning. Our politicians are addicted to the life and perks of being in Washington. I'm to the point where I laugh my ass off at these politicians that some out swinging at Washington elites during their campaigns while doing damn near ANYTHING to remain in Washington for as long as possible.

Obama is in the Oval Office and has well over three years to implement his policies and agendas. Get used to it.

You might want to click your heels three times and see if it does the conservatives any good at all.
You say all this while completely missing the point of the thread.....which directly contradicts everything you've said.

What part of the GOP holding the House beyond 2014 did you not understand?

LOL

Even if we are stuck with a GOP House that accomplishes nothing, the Executive branch still has complete regulatory control.

But it is shocking that the right looks at doing nothing as a good thing.

This made me chuckle a bit.

The fact is that the Republican PArty has made it clear that it has no interest in making America governable, unless it’s doing the governing. And that party controls one house of Congress, which means that the country will not, in fact, be governable without that party’s cooperation — cooperation that won’t be forthcoming.

So much for Democracy.

We should note that it was Democracy that saw to that in 2010.

When Obama was a candidate he had a great idea for health care. He would sit down with both sides and hash out an agreement. That agreement would be posted on the internet for all to read before any votes would be held.

When it came down to that the idea was tossed aside for a bill that was written behind closed doors and we were told that we would know what was in it only after it passed. No, we do not need any input from the other side.

The Dems made their bed here.

Not only "not doing anything" but actively making sure everything gets blocked. What a completely useless party. Vote the POS's out, they've done nothing but become a headache for everyone.

1. The Republicans didn't win in 2010 on the promise to hogtie the President. They first launched a disingenuous campaign about Death Panels. Boehner said it was about Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, and then went off trying to repeal Obama Care, which he knew he couldn't do. This is the reason why House Republicans have baby-eating approval ratings -- the approval rating of someone who goes onto TV and eats a living baby.

2. Obama did campaign about getting all parties to back health care reform, including the insurance companies. It later because clear that the GOP had no interest in being part of the process. Every single Republican voted against it, even though the final bill was essentially the GOP proposal from the 1990s.

The GOP made defeating President Obama their number one issue. It went into the absurd. They would defeat a proposal that they initiated if President Obama later backed it.

Yes, indeed they did.

Boy, Aero Guy, do you have the definition of a lame duck screwed up!

You don't think there is just a teensy bit of difference between the 9 weeks between the election and the inauguration and 3 1/2 more years or leadership?

Here's some new bro... 3 1/2 years of a term yet unserved is not being a lame duck. It's called a SECOND TERM! But please, keep thinking our President is on cruise control... it's much better than all the faux outrage. Be prepared for more years of butthurt.
