Could someone give me some insight on the recent Obama wrongdoing? (illegal, FBI)

I understand that Obama recently attempted to gain information on tea party candidates by illegal auditing. I presume this was solely for political slander purposes but I'd like to get some more info.
Also, I hear the FBI recently asked for all associated press records?

IRS targeted certain conservative groups when trhey applied for tax exemption. More so than other organizations.

I'm still waiting for some proof of the OP's assertion that Obama directed, or even knew about, the IRS' actions against Tea Party non-profits.

The alleged harassment began in 2010, when the head of the IRS was still a Bush appointee.

So who's responsible: Obama for not getting rid of him sooner, or Bush for appointing him?
